One of the most active study areas is approximation theory because of its significance in many different branches of science. The concept can be applied to engineering and mathematics domains like image processing, partial and integral equations, computer-aided geometric design, and constructive approximation of functions. Several subjects are covered by the theory, including sampling series and their applications, approximation by positive linear operators, approximation processes in quantum and post-quantum calculus, among others.
This special issue seeks to bring in original research and review articles highlighting recent developments in approximation theory and associated applications.
