Special Issue: Numerical Methods for Differential, Integral, and Fractional Differential Equations
Overview
This Special Issue provides a high-quality platform for original research focused on the development, analysis, and application of numerical and analytical methods for differential, integral, and fractional equations. It highlights modern methodologies that offer reliable and efficient solutions to mathematical models encountered in science and engineering. The issue seeks to bring together advances in both theoretical analysis and computational techniques for ordinary and partial differential equations, integral and integro-differential equations, and fractional-order models. Emphasis is placed on ensuring accuracy, stability, convergence, and computational efficiency, while also addressing challenges such as complex geometries, nonlocal effects, nonlinearities, and multiscale phenomena. By fostering interaction between theory and computation, this Special Issue aims to showcase innovative approaches that enhance our understanding of mathematical models and improve their practical solvability.
Scope of the Special Issue
We welcome submissions in (but not limited to) the following areas:
- Ordinary and Partial Differential Equations (ODEs/PDEs): Numerical and analytical methods for linear and nonlinear ODEs/PDEs.
- Integral and Integro-differential Equations: Methods for solving integral and integro-differential equations.
- Fractional-order Models: Techniques for solving fractional differential equations.
- Computational Efficiency and Accuracy: Emphasis on reliable, efficient, and accurate numerical methods.
- Complex Models: Methods addressing nonlinearity, complex geometries, nonlocal effects, and multiscale phenomena.
