Abstract

In this paper, we introduce some applications of wb-distance concerning the existence of fixed point for single valued mappings on metric type spaces under some suitable conditions. To support our main findings, we include several illustrative examples. In conclusion, our results either extend or enhance notable fixed point theorems of metric fixed point theory.
