Call for Young Editorial Board Members 2022
Environmental Protection Research (EPR) (ISSN: 2810-9333) is a peer-reviewed multidisciplinary journal established in 2020 that publishes new findings that cover the relationships between environmental sciences and protection research.
To provide a platform for effective research community outreach, EPR is establishing a Young Editorial Board for junior researchers. The Young Editorial Board would be an excellent platform to bring together a diverse group of young researchers in this research area to share ideas, improve editorial management skills, discover opportunities for future collaboration, and others.
What are the requirements?
1. Active in research fields that are relevant to the journal's scope
2. Preferably under the age of 40 with h-index more than 10
3. Have obtained a doctoral degree within the last 10 years
4. Have an excellent track record in publication
5. Have experience conducting research and familiarity with writing and publishing academic papers.
What are the responsibilities?
1. Promote EPR through academic networks, social media, conferences, and others to improve international visibility and influence.
2. Submit or recommend high-quality manuscripts for publication in EPR.
3. Organise or coordinate special issues for EPR.
4. Review assigned manuscripts and make editorial decisions within the given timeframe.
5. Engage in contributing ideas or suggestions on journal policy and scope.
What are the benefits?
1. An official appointment certificate from the Editorial Office of EPR.
2. Articles submitted by or recommended by members of Young Editorial Board will be considered for expedited review by EPR.
3. Special issue proposals or review papers from members of Young Editorial Board will be considered for expedited review by EPR.
4. Exemplary members will receive the "Excellent Young Board Member" award and will have the possibility to become EPR editorial board members.
5. The initial term of service is one year with the opportunity of renewal for a second term.
