Special Issue: Novel Nanomaterials for a Sustainable Environment

2024-09-04

The 2030 agenda of United Nations Sustainability Development Goals (UNSDG-2030) aims to build and strengthen the integrated approaches for a sustainable environment and promising socio economic effects in tackling difficult challenges. Nanotechnology offers ground-breaking solutions at the forefront of the UNSDG agenda.  Nanomaterials play a significant role in various fields due to their higher surface to volume ratio, quantum size and excellent surface functional properties.

This special issue aims to highlight the multifaceted applications of nanotechnology. The special issue will publish outstanding research/review papers presenting the latest developments in Nanotechnology and its applications in solving environmental issues, aligning with the goals and targets of the UNSDGs.

Prospective themes include, but are not limited to the following

  • Nanomaterials for Environmental Remediation;
  • Carbon based Nanomaterials;
  • Advances in Nanostructured materials;
  • Development and Application of Novel materials ;
  • Sustainable Developments Goals enabled Nanotechnology Applications;
  • Functional Nanomaterials for a sustainable future;
  • Application of Nanotechnology in Wastewater treatment
