Special Issue: Utilizing green biotechnology and interdisciplinary collaboration to achieve sustainable solutions and long-term pollution reduction
Special Issue Description
In the modern world of extreme urbanization, motorization, industrialization and sophistication, the conventional profit minded and fossil-fuel stock dependent processes indulged the human society into creating critically high level of pollution all throughout the globe. Because of this, the focus of scientists and researchers has got directed towards the development of environmentally benign methodologies embracing the concepts of clean technology and cleaning technologies. Chemical and biochemical engineering along with other cross-disciplinary technical approaches play a key role in fostering a collaborative environment where pioneering ideas, research ventures and sustainable solutions will converge to enhance the well-being of our planet. In order to delve into the web of environmental conservation, protection through pollutant minimizations and abatement strategies employing biotechnology, this special issue promises an illuminating convergence of global minds and innovative ideas on new age chemical-biochemical and biotechnological ideas which is poised to explore diverse thematic areas pivotal to our world's sustainable future. From Agricultural Biotechnology to Water Process Engineering, from Regenerative Medicine and Cell Therapy to Waste Management and Valorisation, this special issue ambitiously spans across multifaceted domains such as Sustainable Development, Biodiversity Conservation, and Medical Biotechnology. This SI volume aims to foster collaboration, amplify research endeavors, and propel transformative advancements in the crucial realms of biotechnology and environmental sciences. This issue will provide a shared knowledge base for students, researchers, scientists, business owners, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and visionaries. In light of the critical nature of the world's problems, our central argument is that diverse disciplines must work together in interdisciplinary and cross-disciplinary ways to fully realize green technology's promise and develop long-term plans to reduce pollution through sustainable approaches.
