Special Issue: Models and Practical Uses of Optimization Techniques
Optimization models have found extensive application across a wide range of disciplines, including but not limited to engineering, economics, environmental sciences, healthcare, complex systems, and business management. These models are typically categorized into four primary groups: physics-based optimization algorithms, swarm intelligence-based algorithms, game-theoretic optimization approaches, and evolutionary computation methods. Over the past five decades, optimization techniques have been applied intensively to address various practical and theoretical challenges.
This Special Issue aims to explore the dynamic interplay between optimization models and their practical implementations in addressing fundamental and real-world scientific problems. We warmly welcome submissions of original, high-quality research papers that contribute to theoretical advancements or innovative applications of optimization techniques.
