Special Issue: Applications of Empirical Bayesian Kriging and Fuzzy Logic in Environmental Modeling and Decision Support
Overview
This Special Issue will focus on the integration of Empirical Bayesian Kriging (EBK) and fuzzy logic for solving complex spatial and non-linear problems in environmental systems. This issue aims to bridge theoretical mathematical frameworks with applied environmental science, showcasing interdisciplinary methodologies and innovations.
Scope of the Special Issue
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
EBK-based interpolation for hydro-climatic datasets and soil erosion prediction
Fuzzy logic approaches for environmental vulnerability assessment
Integration of EBK and fuzzy decision-making in land degradation, groundwater mapping, and flood hazard modeling
Hybrid AI-GIS models for spatial uncertainty quantification
Mathematical optimization of conservation prioritization and sediment transport modeling
Novel algorithms for geostatistical model validation and error minimization
