Call for papers
Food Science and Engineering (ISSN: 2717-5839) is a peer-reviewed and open access journal. It aims to provide researchers, academicians and scientists a forum for communicating advances and development of food science. We are now inviting original articles, reviews, perspectives, letters, and short communications on the topics of food nutrition, security, technology, engineering and interdisciplinary studies for Volume 2 Issue 1 of the journal, which is scheduled to be published on April, 25. 2021. An early submission will get preference in case of review and publication process.
Submission are welcome but not limited to the following topics:
●Food nutrition:
Nutritional biochemistry;
Nutrigenomics and metabolomics;
Nutrient physiology/metabolism and interactions
●Food Security:
Food allergies and intolerances;
Food function and relationships between diet and disease;
Risk assessment, including microbial and chemical hazards;
Emerging safety and toxicological issues
●Food process & techniques:
Transport and storage of liquid and solid foods;
Heating and cooling processes;
Membrane separation & extrusion techniques;
Advances in cleaning and sanitation;
Food packaging;
Process instrumentation and food quality control
●Interdisciplinary research:
Chemistry, microbiology and biotechnology aspects of food;
Physical/chemical/sensory properties of food;
Food nanotechnology application;
Environmental and sustainability of food processing.
Article Processing Charges
Universal Wiser has instituted a generous waiver policy for the journal of Food Science and Engineering. Currently, it is completely free for authors to publish papers on this journal without processing charge or publication fee. Although, it is free for publication, please be noted that submitted manuscripts will be checked rigorously during editorial, reviewing and production process to ensure the quality and integrity of all the published articles.

Peer review: 4 - 6 weeks
Final decision: 2 weeks
Production for online publication: 1 week
