Aims & Scope

Organic Chemistry Plus (OCP) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal covering all areas related to the advancement of organic chemistry throughout the world. This journal has a particular emphasis on synthetic organic chemistry, the development of catalysts, selective syntheses, and mechanistic studies that show methodological developments or provide novel insights into the course of chemical reactions. Through theoretical, experimental, or a combination of these approaches, authors are required to deliver new understanding with elements of biological study, analytical chemistry, functional molecules and systems, or material science associated with organic chemistry.

OCP encompasses the following topics but is not limited to:

  • Synthetic methodology
  • Catalytical chemistry
  • Physical and computational organic chemistry
  • Organic structural chemistry
  • Natural organic compounds
  • Organometallic compounds
  • Heterocyclic compounds
  • Bio-organic and medicinal chemistry, organic chemistry-biology interface
  • Organic functional materials
  • Green chemistry

Research manuscripts including original research articles, critical reviews, letters, short communications, and technical notes that render cutting-edge research findings of this evolving discipline are mainly welcome. All submitted papers are subjected to a rigorous, double-blinded peer-review process to meet the high standards of publication.
