The advancement of electric vehicles (EVs) presents a critical turning point for sustainable transportation. The topic of "Cutting-Edge Green Energy Solutions for the New Era Electric Vehicles" is examined in the current issue of the Universal Journal of Green Chemistry (UJGC), which delves into the intricate interactions between energy-saving materials, cutting-edge technologies, and essential materials that power EVs' battery energy storage systems. Our carefully chosen articles explore the convergence of renewable energy and sustainable materials, delving into the eco-credentials essential to the long-term development of electric vehicle manufacturing and operation. In this issue, we highlight the critical move towards environmentally aware manufacturing practices, as well as the critical role of sustainable materials in increasing the lifetime and efficiency of EV components. Our discussion delves deeper into renewable energy technology and battery storage systems, examining their effectiveness in improving EV performance while reducing environmental impact. This special issue focuses on the revolution in energy systems fuelled by renewables like solar, wind, and other environmentally beneficial sources. Solar cell technology appears as a critical component in developing EV sustainability, with articles detailing its incorporation into car and charging infrastructure designs. We also look at the untapped potential of localised energy generation and effective grid management, revealing a symbiotic link between solar energy and intelligent networks.
This special issue is intended to present high-quality original research articles as well as review articles, short communication, and letters focused on " Cutting-Edge Green Energy Solutions for the New Era Electric Vehicles".
The scope of this Special Issue includes, but is not limited to: • Electric vehicles • Battery energy storage systems • Materials related to battery energy storage systems • Sustainable technologies by using renewable energy systems • Eco-friendly materials • Conversion, transmission and utilization of electric energy • Renewable energy systems • Smart and microgrids. • Charging infrastructure • Approach for energy prediction in battery management systems • Impact of battery-based vehicles for reducing the pollution • Data analysis for predicting the future perspectives
