Abstract

The current study contributes to the literature by examining incidents related to cultural sensitivity in multicultural classroom settings through demographic information surveys and interview sessions. Forty international students participated in the study's survey phase, and 11 volunteer instructors and 15 volunteer students took part in the interview sessions. Quantitative data were collected through a demographic information survey from international students from Middle Eastern countries, and qualitative data were collected through interview sessions from both volunteer instructors and volunteer students. The audio-recorded interview sessions were analyzed using content analysis. The results indicated an absence of cultural sensitivity in the study's context, with incidents found to be related to religious concerns and different ethnicities.
